New Year’s is coming up. It is a time when people typically think about how to improve their lives. This year, I gave up on making specific resolutions and decided to improve my life with a theme (of sorts) Looking back on it, I could sum up my “theme” for the year as HEALTH IMPROVEMENT. I have spent this year improving my health with alternative medicine. For instance, I now take a probiotic every day. It has helped with IBS. I also take Turmeric/Curcumin, which has helped with pain. I use essential herbal remedies and essential oils in a variety of ways and often turn to them FIRST (versus prescription or OTC meds.) I attended the Grand Opening of a store that offers supplements, natural products, essential oils, and much more. They also offer a variety of services, such as massage and foot detox baths. I purchased six services at half off and recently enjoyed two of them. (Four more to go!) The detox bath made my feet feel awesome. I struggle with foot pain due to Plantar Fasciitis. But after the foot detox bath, my feet felt so good. It was almost like they weren’t there. You know what I mean? It’s like how you don’t notice something until it hurts. When it doesn’t hurt, you don’t usually notice it. Except that I did notice because I was so happy that I didn’t have any pain! The massage eliminated a tenacious headache. Again… NO PAIN = HAPPY! My health improvement path has been so beneficial. I have learned a lot, but I have so much more to discover! I will continue to make even more health improvements next year.
But, in 2015, my theme will be LEARN. I am making an effort to LEARN new things, or enhance my knowledge on topics that I already have some level of familiarity with. I want to improve my sewing skills and my crochet skills. I want to learn how to make some Vietnamese dishes. (I fell in love with the Thom Kha soup served at a restaurant in NC.) One of the courses I will use for learning is 90 Days to Abundance. Why don’t you join me???
