Music Review: “Furious” by Jeremy Riddle

 Blogging, SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

In 2006, I first heard Jeremy Riddle’s soothing voice come across the radio.  The song was “Sweetly Broken”.  It was beautiful!  It remains one of my all-time favorite Contemporary Christian songs.  It was from his debut album, Full Attention.  Since then, several of his “new” songs have become “one of my favorites”.  On September 20, 2011, Riddle’s new CD Furious officially released to the public.

I was given the opportunity to review Furious before it released.  It did not disappoint!  Riddle’s voice continues to be one that calms and inspires me!

Riddle describes Furious by saying, “It’s hard to come up with words that depict the magnitude of Christ’s love – the depth and width of it. Furious doesn’t work outside of the context of love; we tend to translate the word as angry, but I see it as a super-powerful force; stronger, deeper, broader than our vocabulary can fully describe.
