Disclosure: This post was created in partnership with SUSU Handbags and eAccountable. All opinions are my own. I received a SUSU Handbag in order to facilitate my review.
I have been looking for a handbag that will hold everything that I usually take out with me (read: BIG!), yet also have structure. I also wanted it to be nice enough for church and special occasions, but not so “blingy” that I’d be embarrassed to take it into Walmart while wearing a casual outfit. I had purchased a really nice (but highly discounted) large bag from an online store. It was large and pretty, but the structure was flimsy. I loved the color, but it didn’t go well with most of my casual clothing, so it really stood out when I took it into a store with me. And, when it was filled with all of my normal purse contents, it slumped over. *sigh* Of course, I kept it and decided to use it for certain occasions – mainly when the cobalt blue matched my outfit – but I still needed something more versatile.
Well, SUSU Handbags SAVED the day!
I was so excited when THIS arrived at my door…
I knew I had been selected for the review and that a SUSU Handbag would be arriving, but I didn’t know WHICH one I had gotten until I opened this package. By the way, look how well-wrapped it was! The handbag was wrapped with cloth, then plastic wrap, and was in a large box!
BLUE! That’s my favorite color!!!!
I love my SUSU Handbag! It’s a Ludlow Tote in Blue valued at $295. I am a frugal gal, so I still marvel that there isn’t a decimal point between the “9” and the “5”. LOL! It has the structure I wanted. Even when I put my iPad into it, it does not fall over. It is very well-made with Saffiano Leather exterior, cotton lining, and a sturdy zipper. It is a color that I absolutely love, but that is “neutral” enough for everyday use. And, it looks great with everything I wear! It has metal feet on the bottom, which keeps the actual bag off the floor for those awful times when I use a public bathroom that doesn’t have a hook on the door. (Don’t you hate that???) It has several interior pockets. I keep my phone in one “open” pocket, a small wallet in the other “open” pocket, and female “unmentionables” in the zippered pocket.
Side Note: The preacher’s wife complimented it and she has GREAT taste! So that was a ringing endorsement! She has a similar red handbag which I have long admired!
From simple color blocked totes, to classic satchels in soft leather, to traditional shoulder bags accented with simple hardware, SUSU’s fleet of sleek, versatile designs continues to deliver timeless, tasteful styles for the professional woman seeking luxury handbags that are classic and modern all at once. On Friday night, our church held the annual Christmas Supper & Program. I kept forgetting to get photos of myself with my wonderful new handbag while I was dressed up for Sundays, so THIS was my chance! I will warn you – I am not a model and my sons are not great photographers. I posed in front of the pantry cabinets because the light was good there and there wasn’t any “household junk” in the background to ruin the pictures. Yeah! Nailed it! Or not! [For the “or not” photos, scroll to the very bottom of the post for the uncropped “outtakes”.]
Here are a few of the “best” shots…
